Tarzan-X: The Shame of Jane is a 1995 Italian pornographic film directed by Joe d’Amato. It is an adaptation of the novel Tarzan of the Apes by the American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, the first in a cycle about Tarzan. The title protagonist, played by Rocco Siffredi, is a white young man raised by monkeys in the African jungle and who happens to meet a group of European adventurers on an expedition, including the beautiful Jane (played by Rosa Caracciolo). The plot shows how, thanks to her, he became acquainted with civilization.
