Movie Reviews: League of Legends: Gwen x Viego
In the forgotten kingdom of Camavor, there was once a village far away from the palace. It was here, in the colony, in the remote countryside, that a little seamstress created her favorite doll, Gwen.
That’s all Gwen can remember about her past, all filled with love. The seamstress and the little doll spent the day working together, the scissors resting in Gwen’s hand as her master passed the needles nearby. At night one could see the two of them nestled under the dinner table, the seamstress and Gwen challenging each other, the clash of silverware and scissors echoing in the kitchen, under the flickering candlelight.
Over time, the game also stops and the light also gradually dims. Gwen didn’t understand why, but every time she tried to recall what had happened in the past, she felt a pang, the memories of the man with the strange face stuck in her mind. Her memories washed away like the tide, Gwen lay there for centuries, only silence and oblivion.
Then one night, her eyes opened slightly. Gwen wakes up for the first time on a deserted beach, far from home. By a kind of magic that she herself was not aware of, she was transformed into a real person, a girl with arms and legs – all real, alive.
Gwen is back to life, with happiness. She glided across the sand, marveling at how far her eyes could see, and how strange the feeling of the wind blowing over her back was. Along the coast, scattered debris left behind for millennia caught her attention. Next to the broken chests is the all-too-familiar star tool.
And then Gwen meets her master’s former lover, Viego. He too is resurrected and is yearning to be resurrected as Gwen’s master. It’s hard, and Gwen is well aware of it. She was very touched by this sincerity of Viego. She wants to replace her master until she is resurrected by Viego. Since then, the doll wishes Gwen to become Viego’s half-wife, taking care of him with what a wife should do.
