Movie Reviews: Diary of Desire

Advertised as Cassidey’s first contract assignment by Vivid Video, “Diary of Desire” has Jim Enright doing a fine, workmanlike job in erotic drama, rather than his comedy forte.

Cassidey actually is shown working for Enright, in what appears to be a magazine office not unlike that of a Penthouse Letters or Penthouse Forum. She does filing, but instead of putting away rejected letters she takes them home to use as inspiration for an erotic book she’s writing. These stories are illustrated for us as erotic scenes, sometimes featuring her and her best friend Shelbee Myne.

That’s about it, with the only surprise being a very brief appearance, topless in a window behind partially obscuring blinds, of beautiful Devon, who the viewer would expect to have a sex scene but is merely “blink and you’ll miss her” eye candy. Myne impresses with some big-boob action, sporting Missile Nose Cone breasts, while Tasha Hunter is on hand for anal sex in one of the story scenes.
